convince的用法
convince表示“确信，说服”等意思
但通常有多种表达方式
且含义完全不同
1.当表示“某人对某事很确信”，强调“自己主动相信某事”时，使用be convinced of或be convinced that形式。但是请注意，这一表述中没有to do不定式结构。
实例
So convinced was I of that woman’s being her mother，that I wanted no evidence to establish the fact in my mind.——Great Expectations by Charles Dickens
2.当表示“使某人相信某事”时，则应使用sb. convince sb. that/of sth.结构。
实例
They convinced me that Harry was，beyond the possibility of doubt，innocent.
他们使我确信哈利毫无疑问是清白的。
The speaker had a good head for figures，so he convinced the audience of what he said in his lecture.
那位演讲人对数字很有把握，因而使听众对他的演讲非常信服。
