When it comes to an important skill which I learned, I wanna talk about cooking.You must know the global new coronavirus（新型冠状病毒）, during theepidemic（疫情，流行病）, everyone must stay at home to avoid infections. With no take-out food（外卖）, cooking at home became quite necessary.
Actually, I didn't get the know-how（诀窍） to cook and I had to learn from scratch（从头学起）. I decided to learn cooking from an application, named little red book（小红书）, a very popular application where we can learn a lot of things. I began to learn from the basics, like how to slice the meat, dice the vegetable and knead the dough（面团）.
Well, I was quite clumsy（笨拙的，简称“手残”） and I made a mess in the kitchen. The whole room was a complete disaster!I felt frustrated, but I do believe practice makes perfect（熟能生巧）.After two hours' practice, I managed to get the hang of（掌握） cooking.You know, I made several traditional Chinese dishes and to my surprise, they were all mouth-watering（可口的）. I was quite happy cos I could enjoy healthy and tasty home-made food ever since.
