alternate adj. 交替的，轮流的，预备的 v. 交替，轮流，改变 例句：Cherry gets Saturdays off in her new job as against working alternate weekends in herlast one. 切莉新找的这份工作星期六放假，而原来的那份工作周末是轮流放假。
