托福听力原则之强调 托福备考。我们在听力考试中，有一些地方会出考点信息。今天我们重点看下一种听力技巧：强调原则。强调原则指的是，当我们听到一类表示强调的词汇或者语气时，很容易出答案。
具体可分为两大类：语义强调和语气、语调强调。
▎语义强调。
是指我们在听段子时，要特别注意那些“本身含义上就给我们以震撼或触动的词或结构，表示强调意义的词或结构”，跟在他们后面被强调的句子就是我们要抓住的重要信息点。
比如：Especially一词后面的内容一定是考点，因为它本身就表示尤其是，特别是的意思，表示强调。
Millions of wild flowers color the valleys, especially in April and May.
不计其数的野花盛开，山谷里一片绚烂色彩，尤其是在四五月份。
再比如：new theory周围也一定存在考点，因为是新的理论，新就新在它是和旧的理论有所不同的，有所区别的，那么它有哪些不同，有些特点呢？就是我们要强调的东西。类似的还有new idea，new assumption等等。

Just remember（一定要记住）
And again.（再说一 遍）
special feature（特殊的特征）
Most importantly（较为重要的是）
One thing I should mention（我应该提及的是……）
Make / Be sure to…（一定要……）
▎第二种语气：语调强调。
包括重音强调、停顿强调、清晰强调等三种。
如下有一个范例，帮助大家更好的理解掌握。
◆ What does the librarian say about the availability of journals and articles in the library?
A. They are not easy to find if a professor put them on reserve.
B. Most of them are accessible in an electronic format.
C. Most of them can be checked out for three weeks.
D. Printed versions from the past three years are located in the reference section.

Ok, actually, most of our materials are available electronically now. You can access psychology databases or electronic journals and articles through the library’s computers, and if you want to search by title with the word ‘dream’ for example, just type it in and all the articles with ‘dream’ in the title will come up on the screen.
