Laura kept kicking my chair during class, which is why I moved to a seat in the back row.
Laura spent the whole class kicking my chair, which finally collapsed to the floor.
2. like表示相似,用法类似similar to,而不是用来举例的for exmaple
Tovia eats a lot of healthy food, like kale and spinach.
因为liked的真正用法是similar to,如果用来表示for example的话,正确的用词应该是such as。
1:Tovia eats a lot of healthy food, such as kale and spinach.
2:Tovia’s spinach casserole was foul-tasting and chewy, like a piece of rubber.
For an afternoon snack, Manoj either eats an avocado, or a whole head of broccoli.
在上面这个错误句子中,either后面跟着eats an avocado,or后面跟着a whole head of broccoli。
1:For an afternoon snack, Manoj eats either an avocado, or a whole head of broccoli.
2:After eating his snack, Manoj either goes back to work, or plays a round of fooall.
